Press release 16.08.2021

What will bring the Gesäuse forward in the future?

Clearly, innovation!

The Gesäuse partners are offering the Gesäuse Innovation Award for the third time. Innovative ideas enrich our living space and bring the region forward. Therefore, committed businesses, private individuals, schools and associations are to be rewarded for their work.

The Gesäuse Innovation Award is open to all private individuals, companies, associations and schools based in the Gesäuse tourism region. It makes no difference whether the entrant is a Gesäuse partner or not. The only thing that counts is the idea of innovation!

All innovative products and services with an impact within the region are eligible. The innovation may be about to be implemented or may have been implemented recently. If the idea is still in the planning stage, it must at least be well elaborated and have real chances of implementation.

The Gesäuse Innovation Award goes into the third round in 2021. In 2019, the "Hoamat" from Großreifling came out on top with the "KostBar im Gesäuse" delicatessen. In 2020, the Weissensteiner family, better known as vulgo Veitlbauer, from Weißenbach an der Enns followed with their "Apfelland im Gesäuse". Who will storm the podium in 2021? A cash prize of € 3,000.00 awaits the winning project again this year. The second and third-placed projects will receive a handsome € 1,500.00 and € 500.00 respectively. So it's worth taking part!

The ideas in your heads are valuable resources, so apply for the Gesäuse Innovation Award!
