Status of compatibility with the requirements
This website is partially compliant with conformance level AA of the "Web Accessibility Guidelines - WCAG 2.1" or with the applicable European Standard EN 301 549 V2.1.2 (2018-08) due to the following incompatibilities and exceptions. The incompatibilities and exceptions are listed below.
Non-accessible content
The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons:
Content from third parties, for example studies or presentation materials from external persons, social media elements that are not within the sphere of influence of the Gesäuse National Park, are excluded from Directive (EU) 2016/2102. For this third-party content, no statement can be made regarding compatibility with accessibility regulations.
The PDF documents and Office documents are not accessible. For example, PDF documents are not tagged, so that they cannot be captured and used by screen reader users, or can only be used inadequately. Thus, WCAG success criterion 4.1.2 (name, role, value) is not met.
Videos: Our videos do not have subtitles and are therefore not accessible.
Images: Our images should all have alternative text so that this information is accessible to screen reader users. If you notice an image without alternative text, please let us know immediately.
It may be that some forms (registration, store order, etc.) have malfunctions in the readability. If you notice a problem here, please let us know immediately.
We have tried to make the homepage contrasty. If the contrast of some elements is not sufficient for you, please inform us about it.
Links in the website are usually distinguished from the body text only by underlining.
Creation of this accessibility statement
This statement was prepared on October 14, 2020.
The assessment of the website's compatibility with the WZG for the implementation of the requirements of Directive (EU) 2016/2102 took the form of a self-test according to WCAG 2.1 in conformance level AA in October 2020. The homepage was completely revised in 2020 and attention was already paid to accessibility during the revision (status implemented at that time). Individual page contents are regularly checked by the web editorial team when new content is published.
