Make the Gesäuse National Park your own and apply as a Junior Ranger. The following awaits you there Adventure Nature Conservation - with exciting experiences, lots of fun, but also work. With your help, you can make a valuable contribution to the protection of nature and biodiversity in the Gesäuse.
The idea of training the younger generation as "Junior Rangers" originated in the American national parks. Accompanied by experienced National Park Rangers, you will be involved in the diverse tasks of the National Park and have the opportunity to participate in projects in the National Park and gain invaluable experience. In addition, you can look after and inform visitors, learn how practical research work is done and at the same time get to know nature - and perhaps yourself - even better.
What do you need to become a Junior Ranger?
- great interest in nature/national parks
- Time (approx. 1x / month, Saturdays)
- Curiosity & Spirit of Discovery
- Enjoyment of hiking (fitness)
- Openness for new friendships
- Age between 10 and 15 years
