Camping<\/h2>\n

As the nature in national parks is particularly sensitive camping and (planned) bivouacking is strictly prohibited. This rule does not only apply to the open terrain but also, like in every other national park, to the parking lots.<\/p>\n

The only exception: Bivouacs for alpinists in case of (mountain) distress are tolerated. Camping, on the other hand, is expressly desired on the Camping site Forstgarten in Gstatterboden<\/a>\u00a0 is encouraged. For reservations call +43 664 8252323 or visit on site. Campers can also be parked there.<\/p>\n

If the campsite is fully booked, you can use the caravan site at the Hartelsgraben car park<\/a> (this may only be approached if no more parking spaces are available at Forstgarten - max. two vehicles have space there; no waste and wastewater disposal possible there).<\/p>\n
