Wie schon im letzten Jahr hatten wir ein kleines R\u00e4tsel vorbereitet \u2013 als Belohnung wartete vom Kr\u00e4uterbergbauern ein St\u00fcck k\u00f6stliches Apfelbrot oder ein Stamperl w\u00e4rmender Schnaps auf die Teilnehmer:innen. Nach einem wunderbaren und st\u00e4rkenden Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck im Bauernladen Goschnhof in Irdning ging es f\u00fcr uns hoch hinaus. Unser Ziel: die Zipline Stoderzinken in Gr\u00f6bming.<\/p>\n<p>Zum Gl\u00fcck fassten alle Mut und wagten den Sprung \u2013 belohnt wurden wir mit einem atemberaubenden Ausblick und einem ordentlichen Adrenalinkick. Um wieder etwas zur Ruhe zu kommen, lie\u00dfen wir den Tag bei einer gem\u00fctlichen Runde Minigolf und einem k\u00f6stlichen Abendessen ausklingen. Bei Veggie-W\u00fcrstel, Getr\u00e4nken und guter Stimmung wurde gemeinsam auf die erfolgreiche M\u00fcllsammelaktion zur\u00fcckgeblickt. Dieses Jahr gab es eine Premiere: zum ersten Mal durfte YOUth FOR NATURE einen Film ausw\u00e4hlen! Die Filmauswahl traf dabei den Geschmack der Besucherinnen, denn 70 Leute kamen um sich &#8222;Into the Wild&#8220; anzusehen und den lauen Sommerabend inmitten des Nationalparks zu genie\u00dfen.<\/p>\n\n        <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n    <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/nationalpark-gesaeuse.at\/wp-content\/uploads\/Into-the-Wild-Kopie-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"Into the Wild &#8211; 1\" class=\"image-text__image image-text__column\" loading=\"lazy\" \/>\n<\/div><\/section>\n\n<section id='lightpress__section--block_623902ad57610984ae0d268e9cbb4482' class='lightpress__section lightpress__section--image-text lightpress__section--full_width lightpress__section--'><div class=\"image-text\">\n    <div class=\"image-text__content image-text__column\">\n        <p class=\"image-text__subtitle\">August 2025<\/p>\n        <h3 class=\"image-text__title uppercase color-text-darker\">AKUSTISCHES MONITORINGPROJEKT GESTARTET<\/h3>\n        <div class=\"image-text__text wysiwyg color-text-grey\">\n            <p>YOUth FOR NATURE startete ein dreij\u00e4hriges akustisches Monitoringprojekt im Nationalpark, um kontinuierlich und nicht-invasiv Daten \u00fcber die Tierwelt zu sammeln. Das Herzst\u00fcck bildet die ecoPi-Technologie \u2013 solar betriebene Aufnahmeger\u00e4te, die Tierger\u00e4usche automatisch erfassen und per KI-gest\u00fctzter App in Echtzeit identifizieren. Nach dem offiziellen Projektstart Ende Juni 2025 sind seit August vier ecoPi-Ger\u00e4te \u00fcber den gesamten Nationalpark verteilt. Diese moderne Methode erm\u00f6glicht es, Artenvielfalt, Populationsdynamiken und Verhaltensweisen ohne st\u00f6renden menschlichen Pr\u00e4senz zu \u00fcberwachen. Klassen der VS Liezen \u00fcber eine besondere Einladung freuen: Ein spannender Nationalpark-Tag im Erlebniszentrum Weidendom erwartete sie. Dort konnten die Kinder die Vielfalt des Lebensraums Wald hautnah entdecken, ihre Sinne sch\u00e4rfen und ganz nebenbei viel Wissenswertes lernen. Nat\u00fcrlich kam der Spa\u00dffaktor auch nicht zu kurz. Mai zur\u00fcck, wo wir mit dem 3. Platz des Biodiversit\u00e4tspreises \u201eSilberdistel\u201c des Landes Steiermark ausgezeichnet wurden. Nach der positiven Resonanz im vergangenen Jahr freuten wir uns besonders, dass dieses Mal rund 90 Personen die M\u00f6glichkeit nutzten, ihren Kleiderschrank nachhaltig zu erneuern oder auszumisten!<\/p>\n<p>Bei k\u00f6stlichen regionalen Spezialit\u00e4ten vom Buffet entstanden inspirierende Gespr\u00e4che \u00fcber weitere Wege, umweltbewussten Konsum zu f\u00f6rdern und im Alltag umzusetzen. We would like to thank the Stangls once again for this. We then travelled on to our accommodation in Hardegg, the smallest town in Austria. In the evening, a wildcat tour awaited us in the Thayatal National Park. On Sunday, we went on a guided hike through the national park and were able to gain an insight into the species-rich fauna and flora of the national park. In discussions with educators, the lack of physical activity among children during the Corona pandemic was a recurring theme. For this, 9 sites at different altitudes and exposures were sampled for ticks. In total, 197 passes were made and 422 ticks were collected. In addition, data on weather, time of day, temperature, and humidity were collected at ground level and at 130 cm. The sampling was carried out by interns and rangers of the National Park and ended in October 2021. The ticks were then sent to AGES for determination. The result is a coloring book with endemic species from the Ges\u00e4use, enriched with little knowledge bites. Each species is presented with an ability that distinguishes it from others.
