National Park Forum on 18 March<\/strong><\/p>\n

In 2022, the National Park Forum will be dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Ges\u00e4use National Park.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Once upon a time...20 years ago the Gesaeuse National Park was founded and nature was allowed to revive: the Johnsbach flows freely, a wild forest is developing and more and more people are looking for \"untouched nature\". The national park administration has probably succeeded in some respects, and the Ges\u00e4use National Park enjoys a good reputation nationally and internationally. Could the population of the National Park communities also benefit? The administration faces up to the discussion.<\/p>\n

National Park Director Herbert W\u00f6lger and his team will review the last 20 years based on the hopes, but also the fears from the founding period of the national park. Which hopes have been fulfilled? Which fears have been dispelled or have they come true? Of course, the future is even more important than the past. \"For the next 10 years,\" affirms Director W\u00f6lger, \"important goals have been worked out.<\/p>\n

For the first time, the National Park Forum will take place as a hybrid event. You can join in the discussion on site at Forstauers Gasthaus in der Gams (formerly Kirchenwirt), taste Forstauers Hofbr\u00e4u and regional delicacies, or join in from home. There will be live broadcasts on the National Park channels on Facebook and YouTube. You can also participate in the discussion online with comments.<\/p>\n

It will be ... in another 20 years. The foundations for this are being laid now!<\/p>\n
