In the heart of the Gesäuse, a fascinating structure has put down roots and pushed out leaves – the Willow Dome, formed from living willow rods. The Willow Dome is the largest living structure in the Alps and, with its unusual architecture and beautiful location on the banks of the river Enns, provides a place to experience the natural world, for research and education.
